As part of the observance of Kerala Agricultural University (KAU) Technology Day, a special program was organized at the farm of Shri Sirajudeen in Madavoor Grama Panchayat.
The program was inaugurated by Shri M. Biju Kumar, President, Madavoor Grama Panchayat. Smt. Sujeena Maktoom, Ward Member, presided over the function. The welcome address was delivered by the Agricultural Officer, followed by congratulations from Smt. Sabitha SR, Assistant Director of Agriculture.
KAU with farmers
The function organized at the farm of a farmer named Sri Sirajuddin in Madavoor Grama Panchayat on the occasion of Kerala Agricultural University Technology Day was inaugurated by the Grama Panchayat President Sri M Bijukumar. The function, chaired by Ward Member Sri Sujeena Maktoom, was welcomed by the Agriculture Officer. Assistant Director of Agriculture Sri Sabitha SR extended her greetings. Dr Isakkimuthu M, Assistant Professor, Extension Department, Kerala Agricultural University and Nodal Officer of the Block Level Agricultural Knowledge Center Project, gave a class on the innovative technologies developed by Kerala Agricultural University. The best farmer Sri Sirajuddin, Sri Shibu M, and members of the Kurichiyil Krishi Koota were also honored at the function. Agricultural Assistant G Sreekumar gave a vote of thanks.
Dr. Esakkimuthu M, Assistant Professor, Directorate of Extension, Kerala Agricultural University, and Nodal Officer of the Block Level Agricultural Knowledge Center Project, delivered a technical session highlighting the innovative technologies developed by Kerala Agricultural University.
On this occasion, Shri Sirajudeen, Shri Shibu M, and members of the Kurichiil Krishikoottam were felicitated as outstanding farmers. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri G. Sreekumar, Agricultural Assistant.
